My Moby Dick is a video series presented by The Library Foundation of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Public Library to discover or rediscover the great literary masterpiece, Moby Dick, through the lens of the modern and equally mythical Southern California state of mind.
Neuroscientist and author Antonio Damasio discusses the record of memories of reading Moby Dick and the whale as plot invention to dramatize “the quest.”
